Introduction
Mehran Environmental & Human Development Organization was established in the 2005. and registered under the societies Registration Act of 1860. Mehran is only organization in Sindh which is currently working in all 56 Union Councils, 9 Talukas of District Thatta Sindh. Total population of Mehran Organisation's working area is around 1.7 million people.

Objectives
- To initiate community development projects including education, health, agriculture, natural resources, environment and infrastructure projects.
- To support and strengthen sustainable community participation
- To mobilize available local resources for poverty alleviation through community development
- To form and train local partner community organizations and networks for community development
- To develop partnerships with Government elected representatives, media, donors and local CSOs to promote community development.
Assignments
Formed & Trained Citizen Community Boards:
- Arranged Relief Camps during current floods in Thatta
- Working in rehabilitation of flood schemes with the support of District Government
- Arranging medical camps for relief of flood hit people in different tehsils of district Thatta Sindh.
- Organised mobilization campaign in relief camps about flood related diseases
